You'll receive up-to-date information on health and nutrition along with easy to follow guidelines. A Better Balance™ offers techniques for successful weight control while taking focus off the scale. Weekly weigh-ins are an option but never a requirement. This program is covered by many Anthem plans and may be covered by other plans as well.
A Better Balance™ is designed by Susan Quimby, RD, LD, and the expert staff at Nutrition Works. Susan and her team of health professionals understand the difficulties associated with weight management. They have been helping clients successfully implement change in their lives for over 20 years.

- How to break old habits
- Nutrition nuts and bolts
- Cooking demo: Healthy in a Hurry
- Meal planning made easy
- Getting fit and making it fun
- Virtual supermarket tour
- Staying motivated
Participants will get:
- A textbook selected by the Nutrition Works staff
- Weekly handouts
- 8 weeks presentations, demonstrations and group support
Tuition: $395.00 per person (Deposit $50.00).
This program is covered by many Anthem plans for participants with weight-related medical conditions such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol or triglycerides, type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes etc. Insurance reimbursement may be available from other plans with a physician referral. If we will be billing insurance for you, please pay only the $50.00 deposit. If you will be paying out-of-pocket, please pay the full $395.00. ***(Unless noted in class description) |
