Our office is staffed by four registered, licensed dietitians, with a wide range of expertise to meet your needs. A registered dietitian (R.D.) is a food and nutrition expert who has completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, has completed an internship program and passed a national exam. Accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, dietitians in Maine are also licensed by the State of Maine.

Susan A. Quimby, R.D., L.D.
Susan specializes in weight management for adults, type 2 diabetes and prediabetes. She has presented many work-site and community-based weight management programs and has been instrumental in the development of our 8-week weight management program, "A Better Balance". Prior to opening Nutrition Works in 1988, Susan worked in both phase 2 and 3 cardiac rehabilitation programs. She has had great success in private practice helping clients lower their cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure, lowering their risk for heart disease. Other areas of interest include osteoporosis, osteopenia, GERD and kidney disease.

Judy Donnelly, R.D., L.D.
Judy works with children and adults, for the treatment of eating disorders, high cholesterol and triglycerides, celiac disease and other gastrointestinal disorders. Judy has a special interest in sports nutrition and works with semi-pro, college and high school athletes. |

Kim Norbert, M.S., R.D., L.D.
Kim specialized in prediabetes, type 1, 2 and gestational diabetes. She has successfully managed her own type 1 diabetes for over 25 years. Other areas of interest include high cholesterol and triglycerides, metabolic syndrome, PCOS and pediatric nutrition. Kim also helps families with children on the autism spectrum implement a gluten free-casein free diet. |

Patsy Catsos, M.S., R.D., L.D.
Patsy specializes in nutrition therapy for clients with gastrointestinal disorders, including IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, gastroparesis, and food sensitivities. She also helps clients manage kidney stones, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and pre-diabetes. Patsy is a certified LEAP therapist (C.L.T.) and is the author of IBS--Free at Last! Patsy is past-president of the Maine Dietetic Association. |
